GETTING STARTED

Your GK Travel SIM is ready for immediate use.

The GK Travel SIM is a ‘Trio SIM’ which means it has all SIM types on one card. So whether you need a standard, micro or nano SIM, you can just pop out the one you need.

Insert the correct size SIM into your device and ensure data roaming is enabled. The data is valid for 30 days after activation.

You’re good to go!  It’s that simple.  Enjoy care free data for 30 days.

GOT A PROBLEM?

If you are unable to access the internet after inserting your SIM then you may need to apply the following APN settings on your device.

• Access the APN name settings and reset to default
• Change the APN settings to: INTERNET
• Leave all other fields blank
• You’re good to go

UNABLE TO USE GK TRAVEL SIM OUTSIDE OF EUROPE?

In some countries outside of Europe your APN settings may need an additional bit of help. Please refer to the below instructions on how to get your GK Travel SIM functioning.

  1. From the home screen, tap the MENU button.
  2. Tap SETTINGS
  3. Tap MOBILE NETWORKS
  4. Tap ACCESS POINT NAMES
  5. Tap the MENU button
  6. Tap NEW APN
  7. Tap the NAME field
  8. Enter Internet, then tap OK
  9. Tap the APN field
  10. Enter mbb.mobi-data.com, then tap OK
  11. Leave Username field blank
  12. Leave Password field blank
  13. Tap the MENU icon
  14. Tap SAVE

Log into your WiFi device.

Open SETTINGS then PROFILE MANAGEMENT.

Click NEW PROFILE and enter the following details;

  • Profile Name – GKTS
  • Number Dialled – Leave Blank
  • User name – Leave Blank
  • Password – Leave Blank
  • Authentication – Auto
  • APN – mbb.mobi-data.com

Then click save. If not already selected, choose the GKTS profile from the drop down list, save and restart your device

TOPPING UP…

This SIM is pre-loaded with data to the value you have chosen. Presently the GK Travel SIM is simply for one off use. We are planning on introducing a top up service in the future.
